Bradley Campbell is a Professor of Sociology at California State University in Los Angeles. He specializes in the sociology of moral conflict. Much of his past work has focused on the sociology of genocide but he has recently begun to study moral conflict on modern college campuses. He is the co-author The Rise of Victimhood Culture: Microaggressions, Safe Spaces, and the New Culture Wars. In this episode we discuss how the shifting dynamics of moral conflict and conceptions of victimhood on university campuses are affecting our moral culture, and the nature of the science of sociology.
